Redispersible Polymer Powder
Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP)
Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) is spray dried redispersible emulsion powder, designed for the construction industry to enhance the properties of dry mortar blends, able to Redispersible in water and react with hydrate product of cement / gypsum and stuffing, form composite membrane with good mechanics intensity. Redispersible Polymer Powder RDP improves the important application properties of dry mortars, like longer opening time, better adhesion with difficult substrates, lower water consumption, better abrasion and impact resistance.
Co-polymers of ethylene and vinyl acetate,Protective colloid is polyvinyl alcohol
External insulation plastering mortar for external wall;External wall flexible putty;
Plastic/paper bags 25g net weight per bag
Below 30 in damp-proof environment
Must be sealed after opening and avoid contact with air
180 days;out of this valid period,if not caked,still usable
Physical-chemical performance index
White powder,free flowing
Bulk density (kg/m³)
(D50)μm Average grain diameter
Glass transition temperature
The products can be dispersed in water,improve the adhesion between mortar and common support;with high compressive strength with early strength,it can improve mechanical properties of mortar and enhance the work-ability of mortar
According to the national laws and records on hazardous substances,RDP is not a hazardous substance.For further safety information,see its Material Safety Data Sheet.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Latex powder is a hygroscopic and water-absorbing polymer powder,and its storage and transportation process should be in the original packaging,and keep it cool and dry.During production and use,once the original packaging is opened,resealing measures must be taken to avoid moisture intrusion.
In a cool,dry place for at least six months.For products beyond the shelf life,a verification test should be carried out to determine.
